Cassandra, born in the 1960s, was raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in a musical family with Gospel roots. Grandma would sing spiritual hymns throughout the day, and Grandpa would hum along to the music. Mom, a self-taught pianist, played keyboard and organ, while Dad and Brother played drums. They would enjoy jam sessions at home, creating a tight-knit family bond through music. Singing gospel music in church was their cherished family tradition, fostering a strong bond that kept their family together.

Cassandra relocated to Western Connecticut, New England, and has become an integral part of the local music scene. As a member of several popular bands, including Cassandra and the Knighthawks, Bandstand, and Cassandra Sings The Bluez, Cassandra has made significant contributions to the CT Music scene.

Cassandra is now the lead vocalist of Proud Mary, a Connecticut-based tribute band that performs throughout New England.
